East Asia Veterinary Products, Inc., the pioneering business of Dr. Eulalio “Doc Ayong” Lorenzo was born in 1992 and duly registered in 1993, was indeed the humble beginnings of an astute businessman, equipped with street smart talents and impeccable work ethics developed thru his sheer dedication and perseverance as a gifted technically sound licensed veterinarian. Determined to start his own empire in the vast potential and challenging animal health and nutrition products distribution, that evolved to manufacturing and importation of relevant, technically sound, and innovative new concept products for the Philippine Poultry, Livestock, Feed Milling and the Multi Billion Peso Game Fowl animal health and nutrition supplement products market leadership it now enjoys was established in 1994 and the rest is history.
Now, East Asia Vet is focused on short and long term visionary mission, by a paradigm shift of drafting creative and revolutionary approaches in its going to market strategies, In the face of the “New Reality” in coming out and promoting products and technologies, prioritizing on Poultry market, after the onset of African Swine Fever, that severely reduced the population and potential of its market opportunity. Pinpoint accuracy product studies and marketing via digital approach coupled with the establishment of the New EAVPI website for digital marketing vision, its Sales and Marketing Team is seriously embarking in launching new products that answer the needs of the New Reality market preferences and behavior, exemplified by the farms and feed mills nowadays. This is the New Reality market shift for East Asia Vet to introduce its Company, Products and Promote and Create Demands for its available products and technologies.
Currently leading the New East Asia Vet is its Managing Director, Dr. Rodolfo “Doc Rollie” Ongchangco Encarnacion, Jr., bringing along in the EDL Group of Companies conglomerate, his vast experience and in-depth know-how of the livestock and the animal health and nutrition distribution industries, started his career in 1988, after his small animal practice stint after graduation. He, just like Doc Ayong, started as a Professional Sales Representative in a pioneering veterinary company, led him to be invited to another pioneering veterinary company that shifts his focus from selling to product management, developing new products the relevant market needs and brand management skills to enhance and strengthen the introduction and going to market ways to serve the ever-evolving needs and wants of livestock farmers nationwide. He further pursued his technical expertise, given the chance to do his post-graduate studies and training in The Netherlands, specializing in Swine Pathology and Diagnostics, Pig Breeding, Genetics and Swine Artificial Insemination, after which he continued his Business schooling by taking up an MBA program in one of the established University in the country. He is likewise active in his professional endeavor by sitting and serving in the Board of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association.
